About this song:

This song came to me during a time of deep depression and anxiety. I found myself in circumstances I could not control and life seemed a little crazy. One afternoon, I was working on another song but not really getting anywhere so I switched on the mic and started to worship. I found myself singing these words and found comfort in God, my Shelter, always, no matter what.

About this song:

'Is gràdh Dia' is Gaelic for 'God is Love.' Although I'm not a native Gaelic speaker, many of my family are and I heard it spoken often as a child. It is a beautiful and musical language which adds something very moving to any declaration of worship, not just in song but also in spoken word. I wouldn't be able to write a whole song in Gaelic but here is my song of worship in as much of the language as I am confident to use at present!

About this song:

The opening to this song was inspired by the words of John the Baptist (Bible ref: John 1:29) when he saw Jesus and exclaimed, 'Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!' The song then goes on to describe the character of Jesus, gentle in nature, inherently kind and the perfect sacrifice in our place.

Sometimes I just feel like there is worship in me that has to get out! I get lost in it and can imagine the angels crying, 'Holy, Holy, Holy...' day and night, as described in Revelation (Bible ref: Revelation 4:8). When I experience these moments and put them into a song, all the worries of life just kind of fade away…
